For teachers
Free for teachers, on your own computer
With a school district email you can make videos for free: your own computer makes them, with an AI coding tool signed in to your own account. slide2video charges nothing for this.
How a video project travels
- 1. You upload the deck at school
- 2. Your computer at home picks it up and makes the chapter
- 3. The video comes back to the site
- 4. You watch it at school and note what to change
- 5. Your notes go back, and the next round starts

What it costs
- Free: slide2video charges nothing for a video project made on your own computer. A free narrator voice needs no account.
- Your AI subscription: the AI's work runs on your own AI coding tool's plan, as it does for anything else you ask it.
- Optional, on your own accounts: a more natural voice, background music and short animated clips, paid to those services. Each plan shows their cost before you approve it.
Your district isn't recognized?
We recognize US public school districts from the national list. If yours isn't recognized, sign in with your district email, open Devices, and choose “My school district isn't recognized”. Tell us the district's name and state, and we'll check.
Your material stays yours
- Upload only your own material: no student names, photos or work.
- The videos are made on your computer, with your own AI account.
- Download or delete everything at any time.
